JAMES REID Obituary
Mr. Reid was preceded in death by his loving wife of 39 years, Donna V. Reid, and is survived by his three sons, James H. Reid Jr., Robert J. Reid (Frieda), Michael R. Reid; brothers, Raymond Reid and Gary Reid; sister, Shelby Cahoon; grandchildren Christin Cimburke (Joey), Jake Reid, Haleigh Reid, Matthew Reid and Will Cimburke; numerous nieces, nephews and his beloved dogs, Bruiser, Diamond and Candy.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, in Southlawn Memorial Park Prince George, Va., with the Rev. Carl Weaver officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014, from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. James H Reid Sr. was a wonderful, loving man, father and mason. His children can be proud to emulate the example he displayed throughout his life. He will live on in spirit as a true American patriot through their loving remembrance.
