Jerome Robinson Obituary
Petersburg - Mr. Jerome "Romey" Robinson of Petersburg, VA, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021. Born on August 17, 1954 in Petersburg, VA, he was the son of the late Richard Robinson, Sr. and Hatte Green Robinson.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Robinson; three brothers, Rudolph, Richard Jr. and Roy J. Robinson and one brother-in-law, Aaron Eldridge.
Jerome leaves to cherish his memories; his devoted wife, Estelle H. Robinson; daughter, Taquewita Harrison; son, Reginald Harrison (Nicole); three special grandchildren that was dear to his heart, Terri Tucker, Saquan Harrison and Kamari Harrison; three sisters, Lois P. Robinson, Beverly A. Robinson and Jacqueline R. Eldridge; two brothers, Herman L. Robinson and John Robinson, Sr. (Cathy); two brothers-in-law, Jawanza Salih and James Harrison; three sisters-in- law, Charlotte Green, Clara Batts and Gloria Wyche; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; his devoted crew, DannyBoy, Frank Lee, Ralph Jones, Rodney Robertson, Curtis Clanton and Keebie.
Jerome retired from Virginia State University after 25 years of service. Romey enjoyed doing yard work, washing his cars and helping his family.
Services will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA. The interment to follow at Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery.

When it comes to saying goodbye on this side of the Jordan the pain sometimes seem unbareble But then as the days roll on something said or done reminds you of him and you smile realizing he's as close as the next memory.
