Jody you know we will truly miss you. I(we) all have so many memories to hold on to "thanks to you". I never imaged this day would come so soon, but I guess this was God's work. "I Love and miss you". I want to say thanks to everyone that has taken the time to sent us their condolences.

To The GHOLSON FAMILY(My family). On May 8,2007 I had no clue, that would be the last time that I would talk to Jody. You know on May 9,2007 our Lord had the ultimate plan for Jody.I want to thank the Lord for giving me the opportunity to enjoy Jody for 50 years. We all will miss him--but in our own ways. I can say "JODY DID LOVE US ALL". He would tell me that all the time. And what I said--Yeah Yeah :his saying. Ours trips to Bluefield you can't imagine the things I had to listen to for 5 hour 1-way. But there wasn't a dull moment. He talked more than radio, which the radio faded out. Like Dad said JODY could talk the horns off a billy goat. JODY would not want us to be said about GOD'S choice .He was happy when we last talked. So I do beleive he had a little talk with our GOD. He will live on in my heart. I Love You Family------ JODY'S twin for 10 days--Gail.

I wish I could speak to you one last time, just to tell you how much I love you. You gave me wisdom, insight, and advice that will last a lifetime. I always felt like I needed to listen to you because you always spoke the truth. I admit, it may have left me laughing for days, but it was certainly the truth. The last time I spoke to you, I told you that you had a stamp on each and every one of your neices and nephews, and you replied,"Naw 13, ya'll just like Wayne". I know you was just being modest but I wanted to let you know that I've introduced and conversated with more strangers that I didn't know because I saw how you did it. I've always felt like, THAT WAS THE "JODY" IN ME. I love you unc. You will live on thru us. I hate that I'm all the way in Texas, but you told me that this is were I'm supposed to be, so believe me, that keeps me going everyday. I miss you man. IN HONOR OF MY UNCLE, will everyone touch fist with the one sitting beside you, because thats what my uncle would have done! Love alwayz, BUCKET AKA "13"

Jesus is speaking to the Gholson family when He says in John 14:1-2, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for Jody.”

To Gail, Sharon, Robin and the entire Gholson family.
My Prayers are with you in your time of despair. Jody was a wonderful person. In high school I always regarded him as a spirit lifter. He always listened, and he always had a good thought to extend to any and every one in his presence. The word of God will always lift your sprits when you miss him (Jody), because of the good words he extended to others while he was here.
