To the Walker Family... Kilo, Rio, Devon, Julie's sisters, brothers and other family & friends: I'm glad that I got the opportunity to visit with Julie before she left us. I was honored that she requested me to sing "Safe In His Arms" at her homegoing celebration. I didn't ask her why she wanted that particular song, but I can imagine that she wanted you all to know that because the Lord was her shepherd while she was with us, that she was "Safe In His Arms", and even now that she is with Him in Glory, she is "Safe In His Arms". I know that she wants the same for you who are alive and remain.

My Bishop once said that the only good fight is one that you win, and Julie fought a good fight! No matter how she started out or what she had to go through, the end result was victory! So, be encouraged and know that the race is not given to the swift, nor the battle to the strong; but to the one that ENDURES until the end. You all have dreams to fulfill, so I encourage you to do all you can to make it happen, for He which has begun a good work in you is faithful to complete it!

I'm thinking about you and praying for you. Kilo, call me whenever you need to. Rio, you still my boo. (:o). Devon, the best is yet to come for you!

Peace & Blessings to you all!

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Dear Davon, Akilah, Dario and other family members. We are thankful to have known such a spirit filled woman as Julie. She was certainly a joy to be around and a great listener and because of her zest for life we also found her to be an encourager and very affectionate towards others. Julie fought a good fight and left a beautiful fruit orchard for the family to nurture from each day. Galatians 5:22-23. We will continue to keep all of you in prayer that you will be at peace. Love,

To the family of my dearest friend Julie Johnson. I can not express what I feel today. My heart is sad and full at the same time. Julie and I exchanged christmas and birthday gifts for years. We talked about the LORD, her children and grandbaby. She really wanted to finish at St Paul's College. With GOD's help she did what a lot of us could not do. Even with her illness she did it. I am so proud of Julie and her accomplishment at DSCR. I sent her a job to apply for because I new that was one of her goals. Julie you are a buyer at DSCR without the title or promotion. GOD promoted you as a buyer. Doing the work as a procurement technician is nothing less than a buyer. I miss you. May GOD bless Julie's family and remember she is always in your heart. I know she will always be in mind.

To the children, sisters, brothers and remaining family of Julie Johnson. I have also among the many people at DSCR had the pleasure of working with Julie. There are no words that can express what you are going through at this present time. From my relationship with Julie's, I know that this family is bonded in Jesus. And with that said, this is the time to exercise your faith. Only He can get you through this; just know she is with the Lord and now and only now is everything alright.

To Julie's family. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Julie worked for me many years, and was such an inspiration - dedicated and loyal- never complaining through pain or sorrow. I will deeply miss my message from her this year, as I know you are missing this great lady as well. May God bless all of you and hold you in his loving arms.

To the Johnson and Walker families: My deepest sympathy during this time of sadness and loss. I knew Julie as "Ann" through my sister and brother-in-law, Kelly and Charlie Walker. I cheered from a distance as she graduated from St. Paul's just a few short months ago and I marvelled at the brave and fighting spirit that was Julie A. Johnson. Look to our Heavenly Father at this difficult time. He will see you through it.
