June Wilson Obituary
Prince George - June Ann Wilson, 82, of Prince George, VA, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021. Born in Richmond, VA she was the daughter of the late David Linwood "D.L." and Flossie Jane Savage Spain; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Alvin Wilson; a sister, Vera Josey; and a brother, Ray Hardy. Mrs. Wilson retired from Honeywell after 32 years of dedicated service as a Lab Technician. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and maintaining a beautiful yard as well as owning and operating Summer Jewels Perennial Nursery of Prince George. She will be remembered by her family as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her three sons, Steven S. Wilson and wife, Lynnadee, Dale Wilson and wife, Amber and L. Bryan Wilson and wife, Kimberly; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and a sister, Leona Flippin. A funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 21, 2021, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. An Interment followed at Appomattox Cemetery, Hopewell, VA. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com
