KENNETH JOHNSON Obituary
Kenneth loved the Lord Jesus and had a personal relationship with Him. He was a disciple of Holy Ghost Living Tabernacle Ministries. He was preceded in his eternal destination by his mother, Pastor Marian L. Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his father, Apostle Kenneth W. Johnson, Jr.; sisters, Yolanda D. Johnson and Kydra K. Berkeley (Tyrell); brothers, Kyle K. Johnson and Karsten A.M. Johnson; grandparents, Dorothy and Kenneth W. Johnson, Sr. He also enjoyed life with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Kenny was a big soul, full of love, joy and peace. He never met a stranger.
Kenny graduated from Community High School (2002) and obtained a B.S. in Information Technology from Virginia State University (2007) and Masters in Education from Virginia State University (2015).
Kenny taught Algebra at Henrico County High School and also in the Greenville County Public School System. He was the proprietor of Third Level Entertainment, an audio engineering company. Kenny was a producer, beat-maker, music career consultant and musician.
Kenny had many civic, academic and intellectual affiliations and was loved by all. He will be missed, but never forgotten.
Service will be held at 12 noon, Monday, March 5, 2018, at Mt. Gilead Full Gospel International Ministries, 2501 Mt. Gilead Boulevard, Richmond, VA, Bishop Daniel Robertson, Jr., Pastor, eulogist. Interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery.
A wake will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2018, at the funeral establishment.

Kenny always made me smile, he accepted and loved family that no one else wanted to help. Kenny was and is the true description of Love. He Loved his Grandma and Papa. He Loved me, ( Aunt Gloria ), I love and miss him. We will be together again. Play those drums in Heaven Kenny, play those drums. Always in my heart. Your teaching, your mentoring, your understanding. We need more of this. Family reunions are just not the same anymore.

Hey, Kenny. It's hard to find this out. I would've flown home to be able to make the funeral had I known. You were such a great friend to me! Such a great human being, so knowledgeable and welcoming. This is heartbreaking and I wish I could say more. You were one of my closest, most real friends and I'll miss you so, so much. We'll have to reschedule the tour of Los Angeles another day, another embodiment, and another time. I know your sweet soul will always be in my heart. It doesn't feel real yet. I don't know if it ever will. I do know that you made a positive impact on so many people's lives, and for that, you will never be forgotten. I love you and I will always miss you!

I never thought that I would be saying RIP Kenny this is so hard but I know how much you loved the Lord and the Lord loved you. I attended your funeral today. I had just seen you on Feb.25th, at your AWESOME Spoken Word and Hip Hop Show Case ,at Brewer's Cafe! There you gave me the longest hug,because I had recently loss my brother. You looked great and you even performed ! Ken you were in your element! I texted you later that night and you thanked me for attending. I am so glad we cross paths. You were a pleasure to know. It was that Va.State University connection ! Rest In Heavenly Peace Ken! You will be missed!

Words do not ever lessen the loss of a loved one, but they are all we have to offer. Kenneth was my student and one of my RCHS "family" kids. His smile and enthusiasm is something I will remember always. He had a big heart filled with love and joy. He will be missed by so very many.
