THANK YOU ALL FOR THE KIND WORDS ABOUT MY FATHER, LAWRENCE W. JONES. HE WILL BE TRULY MISSED. HE IS NOW AT PEACE AND IN A BETTER PLACE. NOW I HAVE THE GOOD MEMORIES AND TIMES WE SPENT TOGETHER. I HAVE CRIED MANY OF DAYS WISHING THAT HE WAS HERE. BUT I KNOW HE WON'T RETURN TO ME. BUT HE WILL REMAIN IN MY HEART FOREVER AND EVER. I MISS HIM SO MUCH. I LOVE MY DAD, MY BEST FRIEND. THE NIGHT BEFORE MY DAD PASSED, RIGHT BEFORE I WAS ABOUT TO LEAVE I TOLD HIM THAT I LOVED HIM. AND I ASKED HIM IF HE LOVED ME. HE GRUNTED AND I SAID "DAD TELL ME YOU LOVE ME"-INSTEAD HE GAVE ME THE BIGGEST SMILE EVER THAT MELTED MY HEART. THAT IS SOMETHING THAT WILL BE WITH ME FOREVER. THAT LAST MOMENT WITH HIM.

Thank you for signing the guest book and for expressing your words of kindness and remembrance of our father. It is so hard to believe that he is no longer with us. During his last day in the hospital, I read the bible to him and prayed with and for him. I asked him what did he want to pray for? He said yes to having some peace and no to having a new car and some money. I know in my heart that he has peace. I know he had it on earth, but he was very sick and it broke my heart to see him in so much pain. I love my dad with all my heart. He is truly missed. I would have never thought he would ever leave us. I thank God for giving my family the opportunity to spend time with him in the hospital before he passed. I will forever remember having that time with him. Philippians 4:7-9

To The Family of Mr. Lawrence W. Jones:

My family and I send our heart felt prayers out to all of you during this time of grief. I can say that Lawrence will be missed for the many kinds words that he bestowed to me within the years and his presence as a good neighbor. We shared a common bond with our interest in music. I will always remember him coming over to the house listening to music and sharing a laugh or two and good conversation. May God keep and comfort all of you.

To the Jones family:

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
