Lula Givens Obituary
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Given,s and two sons, James Wesley Jones and Lou Wallace Jones.
She is survived by one stepdaughter, Edith Harris; nine grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Carrie Jones; and other relatives and friends.
Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave., Richmond, Va. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Jerusalem Baptist Church in Jarrett, Va., where remains will lie in repose one hour prior funeral time. The Rev. Albertine Mason officiating. Interment Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45 a.m. Saturday.

May you find peace and strenght in the words of Psalm 23:4 "Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." My prayers and thoughts are with the family during these difficult days continue to hold on to God's strong and powerful hands. I thank God for allowing me to know and share such beautiful/glorious time at the Senior Citizen Center in Jarratt, Va.with Sis. Givens. Be strong in Christ Jesus! Elizabeth Parker (Evangelist)
