MEREDITH NEWCOMB Obituary

Meredith Augustus Newcomb, Jr., 78, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015. Born in Colonial Heights, VA, he was the son of the late Meredith Augustus Newcomb, Sr. and Ella Crouch Newcomb. He was a U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corp veteran.

Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Gwen E. Branzelle (Sherer D.) of Virginia Beach and brother, David O. Newcomb (Jean) of Chesapeake.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11: 30 a.m. Friday, March 13, 2015, at Haygood United Methodist Church by Rev. Tammy Estep. Interment will follow in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are by Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
