RONNIE THWEATT Obituary

Mr. Ronnie Franklin Thweatt of 1509 Valor Drive, Petersburg, VA, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, peacefully while he was sleeping. Ronnie was born on March 3, 1962, in Petersburg, VA, on Halifax Street.
Ronnie was born to Gloria Chandler Thweatt and the late Thomas Franklin Thweatt. Ronnie was educated in the Petersburg Public School System. In Ronnie, younger days he loved playing football and lifting weights. Ronnie had the best six-pack muscles and the best waves in his hair like no one ever seen.
He loved looking at himself in the mirror. His favorite saying, "No one got anything over me". He loved dressing-up and looking good. Ronnie enjoyed sitting and watching old western movies with his mother. He enjoyed spending time with his family, singing drawing pictures, fishing, socializing and meeting new people. He was also a lady's man that will be remembered for his beautiful smile and a go getter.
Ronnie hold several different employment opportunities as a laborer.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Leven Tip Bugg; grandparents, George Chandler, Sr. and Lorraine Fisher Chandler Lee; brothers, Jeff Chandler (Habeebullah Muhammad) and Anthony Thweatt; and his sister, Wakita Thweatt.
Ronnie leaves to treasure his memories: his mother, Gloria Chandler Thweatt Bugg,; sisters, Sacajawea Lulu Thweatt, Janice Bugg, Janet Bugg, and Lakisha Harper; daughter, Casie Bank; son, Rondale White; grandson, Markeese Taylor; brothers, Lanier Wesson, Amos Bugg, and Kevin Harp; aunts, Juanita Deloce, Ann Giles, and Sandra Tucker; uncles, Milton Chandler, Joseph Chandler, Clarence Lee and Billy Lee; nieces, Tenesha Bugg, Tekita Bugg, Taysha Ruffin, Tamika Thweatt, Diana Thweatt, Latrina Thweatt, Lytonya Cooke, April Williams, Wakita, Clara, Khadijah and Zarinah all of Atlanta, GA; nephews, Kenny Bugg, Kelvin Parker, Kamron Pickett, Lamont Thweatt, Amos Raines, Maurice Williams, Ibrahim Muhammad, Seifyddin Chandler, and Derrick Smith; one devoted great niece who will miss him dearly, Tiyanah Taylor; a host of other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Service will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 9, 2020, in the Chapel of J.M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA. The interment will be private.
