VIOLET WATSON Obituary
Violet was a former employee of Seward Luggage and did companionship services for Petersburg Social Services. Violet had a loving but strong personality. She was a no non-sense kind of woman who went out of her way to provide for her family. She was a faithful and standing member of New First Baptist until her declining health.
Mrs. Watson leaves behind two daughters, Cheryl and Wendy Watson; along with two sons, Louis Watson and Shawn Watson; sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Violet will always be loved and missed.
Services for Mr. Violet A. Watson will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016, at New First Baptist Church, 1346 Grant Ave., Petersburg, Va., Rev. Curtis L. Johnson, pastor.

Dear Watson Family,
You know she loved you with her whole heart. She always made me feel like family. We all have special memories of her and I pray that they help to comfort us all.
My heart is sad that she is no longer physically with us, but as my mom always said, "It's not goodbye- it's 'til we meet again."

Shawn, Wendy and Phil: Nothing can ever take away the love a heart holds so do not bow your head in sadness but keep your head up high and gaze into heaven for that is where she resides. Prayers are with you and your family for strength and inner peace to persevere thru this storm.
