William Fox Obituary
Born in Roxboro, N.C., he was the son of the late Ivey S. and Betty Perkins Fox. He was a member of Highland United Methodist Church, a U.S. Navy veteran and was a retired magistrate for Colonial Heights and Chesterfield County.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor T. Fox; son, Carlton T. Fox (Michelle) of Yale; daughter, Kathy F. Arterburn of Colonial Heights; three brothers, J. Frank Fox (Ruby) and R. Ray Fox of Roxboro, N.C., and Larry L. Fox (Earlene) of Chesapeake; five grandchildren, Julie F. Koontz (Mike), Carlton T. Fox Jr. (Phyllis), Katlyn Arterburn, David Arterburn and Cory Fox; and a great-granddaughter, Renee Fox.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Highland United Methodist Church, 125 E. Westover Ave., Colonial Heights. The Rev. Keith Ritchie will officiate. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Memorial contributions may be made to the Highland Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 37, Colonial Heights, VA 23834.
