William Riggins Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas and Martha Louise Sheffield Riggins. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and a great father and grandfather (Pop).
Mr. Riggins is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rose Marie Riggins; daughter, Wanda Gibbs and husband, Billy; son, Dwayne Riggins and fiancée, Jody; daughter, Cathy Tucker and husband, Bubba; grandchildren, Little Billy Gibbs, B.J. Tucker, Whitney Gibbs, Priscilla Gibbs, Justin Storey, Gabriele Gibbs, Austin Tucker, Hunter Tucker, Angel Riggins, Herbie Spain; a great-granddaughter, Hayleigh Gracelynn; sister, Shirley Nealy and husband, Milton; lifelong devoted friend, "Money" Coleman; devoted brother-in-law, Earl Hawkins; devoted cousin, "Nukie" Critcher; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at the Petersburg chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 5001 W. Broad St., Suite 217, Richmond, VA 23230. Condolences can be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

Marie and family, I too am deeply saddened at Tom`s passing.. I can only remeber the good times we had . Tom possesed that wonderful ability to be liked by everyone he met. Truly missed within my heart as well as yours. Bless you all

Marie, Wanda, Cathy and Dwayne we are deeply saddened for your loss. Tom was a wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He was loved by so many. We will always cherish the many memories we have. We love you all.
