SUE WANNEMACHER Sue Ann Wannemacher, 78, of Payne, Ohio passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center. Sue was born in Paulding, Ohio on March 24, 1946, a daughter of the late Dorothy Dean (Smith) and Ray Riggenbach. She was a graduate of Paulding High School. She went on to work for the FBI for a short time before returning to Paulding County, where she married the love of her life, Dick Wannemacher. Sue and Dick thoroughly enjoyed life. Casino trips, Columbus Blue Jacket hockey games and hot air balloon festivals were some of their favorite times they shared. Sue was also known to cheer for the Pittsburgh Steelers. She treasured their trips to Florida each winter and the love that they both shared for their family. Sue's selfless nature was evident through her participation in church activities like the TGIF Giveaway, the Cookie Walk and teaching bible school. Sue will be sadly missed by her husband, Richard "Dick"; son, Kevin (Sally); grandchildren, Kristin and Konnor Wannemacher; siblings, Gerald (Ilonka), Dave (Carie Lynn), Duane (Kim) and Ron Riggenbach. Viewing is Thursday, January 2nd, 4 - 7 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne. Her funeral service is 10:30 am, with viewing from 9:30 - 10:15 am on Friday, January 3rd at Saint Paul United Methodist Church, 312 S. Main Street, Payne.
