Adelaide Wilcox Obituary

WILCOX, ADELAIDE B., 85, formerly of Norwood Ave., died Wednesday at Cherry Hill Manor in Johnston. She was the beloved wife of the late Russell B. Wilcox.

She is survived by her daughter Carol R. Manzolillo and her husband Anthony of Johnston, three sisters Natalie and Maybelle Dunn of Salisbury, MA and Lucy Imbimbo of Bayville, NJ; two grandchildren Robert Manzolillo and Donna Sanita and three great grandchildren Kevin, Ryan James and Aidan Russell Sanita. She was the grandmother of the late James Manzolillo, the stepdaughter of the late Edith Merritt and sister of the late Ralph, George, Frank and Alfred Merritt.

Funeral service at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Ave., West Warwick, Saturday at 10 AM. Calling hours Friday 5-7 PM. Interment in North Burial Ground, Providence. Donations in her memory may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 169 George St., Pawtucket, RI 02860. Information and condolences at www.carpenterjenks.com.

adelaide was a very good friend of mine i was miss her greatly she was like a mother to me always helping me out with things i will miss her smile and love for everything i am so very sorry for your loss
