Albert Del Padre Obituary

DEL PADRE, ALBERT ROCCO 66, of Cranston, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016. Rocco was the beloved husband of Marie (Boezi) Del Padre. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Albert and Jeanette (Taylor) Del Padre. Rocco worked as a self-employed carpenter and contractor for 30 years. He served his country in the United States Army from 1967-1971. He flew with the 170th Assault Helicopter Co. while stationed in Vietnam, and was awarded the silver and bronze stars. Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving daughter, Dolores Picone and her husband Thomas of East Greenwich; cherished grandchildren Domenic and Benjamin Picone; dear siblings Donna Shipman of Long Beach, CA, Cheryl Del Padre of Cranston, Jeanette Theroux of Cranston and Paulette Larocque of Warwick. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will take place in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS will be Thursday morning from 9 - 10 a.m. Visit nardolillo.com for online condolences.
