My dear Ann. I will miss you.
I’ve known Ann for nearly 25 years and it has been my pleasure to do her beautiful white hair. It was always so cute when Connie and Ann came to get their hair done together and it was my pleasure to go to the house and give haircuts and pray with Ann, Connie and Mr. Searles. I will miss her sweet voice telling stories of vacationing with her friends at Hilton Head and all of her different projects; painting and restoring furniture and making Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls.
There is peace in knowing she is no longer in pain.
To my friend Kate I send my condolences to you, John, JD and Michaela. And praying for the Lord’s comfort to help you through this difficult time.
With love and sympathy, Danielle

I remember those great outings when my mom, Marjorie Holmes, Mrs. Kaveny and Mrs. Searles would head out to play golf. I'm not sure my mother was much of a golfer, but they all seemed to have tremendous laughs! Your mom was a very special person, and her joy of life was infectious. My deepest condolences, Barbara (Holmes) Hoyt

Mrs. Searles and my mother, Marjorie Holmes, taught together at North School. My mom liked her very much and thought she was an excellent teacher. I always looked forward to seeing her when I was at North. I can still see your mom at our house for her baby (Mark) shower .... laughing and looking so pretty. Your mom was a wonderful lady.

My name is Christopher Nelson. I had Mrs Searls in Sixth Grade, 1979-1980
She was a wonderful Teacher, and so patient with me. I will never forget how gentle and soft spoken she was. I occasionally hung out on a big tree at her house, behind the school . It was kind of weird, but you did it hoping for a chance to say hello. My condolances to the family. I will pray for her. I'm so glad she will rest in Seekonk. Thank you Mrs Searls, i will never forget you. cn

My deepest condolences to the entire Searles/Fraser families. Mrs. Searles was a St.Laurent favorite as a school teacher. Being the youngest of 5, all of my siblings had her for a teacher, and I was devastated when I did not get in her class. She was the favorite teacher of all to my older brother Steve, who passed in his teens. He used to come home and tell my Mom to dress like Mrs. Searles. Later, I had the privilege to be hired by Jack, her husband, my first principal at Martin School who is responsible for allowing me to start my teaching career. My heart is saddened for the family, and I only hope they can take solace in knowing how loved Ann was, and especially that she and Jack are now reunited, after a brief period apart.

Dear Searles family, Joan and I would like to express our dear condolences to you all. We knew your mom and dad through the tennisd league Jack and I played on together. They are both wonderful and thoughtful people. They will be missed here on earth but they are together in heaven forever and just waiting for us to join them someday. Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Ann and Matthew's "co-grandmother" came to volunteer at the Providence Ronald McDonald House as we opened in the fall of 1989. They wanted to share the love and support they had received at the Washington, DC House during Matthew's illness. Ann was a warm, wonderful and loving presence in our House and I will always treasure her memory. My sincere sympathy to her family.

The Searles Family,
Ann was wonderful is so many ways. I knew her as a parent of daughters that adored her. As PTA president I got to know Ann wonderful qualities as a teacher. Without a doubt she leaves many memories that I hope will console each of you. My deepest sympathies.
