Anthony Aiello Obituary

AIELLO, ANTHONY J. 81, passed away surrounded by his loving family, Thursday September 3, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Ann G. (Butera) Aiello. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John and Elena (DeMarco) Aiello. He was a Korean War army veteran, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and was a Red Sox and Patriots fan. Mr. Aiello lived in North Providence before moving to Smithfield in 1969 and wintered in DelRay Beach, Florida for many years. He was the owner of the former Aborn Construction Co., Inc. for over 25 years before retiring in 1995. Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Michael J. Aiello and his wife Rose of N. Providence and Teri A. Drew and her husband Lance of Smithfield. He was the cherished grandfather of Andrea Aiello, Matthew, Kimberly and Katherine Drew and David Aiello. He was the brother of John Aiello of N. Providence and James Aiello of East Greenwich. Visitation and funeral will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015 from 7:45-8:45am from the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Pike (Rt.44) Greenville, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Michael Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, donations to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 will be appreciated.
