I was stunned to learn of Cathy's passing. We first met at a VSA art fair in Chinatown in August 2006, in which we were both participants. In the coming years, we were repeatedly in the same art shows, art fairs and Open Studio events. I always admired Cathy's talent, her artwork and her graciousness. Catherine will be missed by more than just her family and her friends, but by the Boston artists' community as well.

Dear friends and family: All my sympathies are with you. I have fond memories of Cathy and her great personality. Her jewelry creations were amazing. I am also sorry I cannot attend the funeral but I would mourn her passing.
