Catherine Whittaker Obituary

WHITTAKER, CATHERINE I., 82, of Pullen Ave., Pawtucket, died Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at the Memorial Hospital of RI in Pawtucket. She was the wife of the late John R. Whittaker Sr.

Mrs. Whittaker was born in Pawtucket, a lifelong resident, the daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Faunce) Mulberry. She was employed by Memorial Hospital for 17 years.

Mrs. Whittaker is survived by a daughter, Paula Vessella and her husband John, and a son John R. Whittaker Jr. all of Pawtucket, a sister Theresa Trapp of Providence, a grandson, Scott Vessella of Rehoboth, a granddaughter Pamela Santos, great granddaughters Coral and Chloe Santos of Pawtucket, Melissa and Angela Gravel of Rehoboth and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary Martin, Florence Romoli, Edna Dugas, John, Edward, and James Mulberry.

The funeral service for Mrs. Whittaker will be in the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket, Monday, December 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited.
