Christopher Hayes Obituary
He was in business with his brother Michael at the Michael Hayes Co on Bellevue Avenue in Newport. He was previously the manager of the Narragansett Clothing Store. Christopher was the husband of Connie Hayes and the father of Chip and Nory Hayes.
Born in Newport, Christopher was the son of Marilyn Morrissey Hayes, and the late Patrick O'Neill Hayes Sr. He was the brother of Patrick O'Neill Hayes Jr, Michael J Hayes, Peter Hayes, and the late Ellen E Hayes.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, October 6, 2008 at 10:00am, at St. Mary's Church, Spring St., Newport. Burial at St. Columba Cemetery, Brown's Ln, Middletown. Donations in Christopher's memory may be made to The Hope Funds For Cancer Research, 226 Bellevue Avenue, Suite 11, Newport, RI 02840.
