Cynthia and I grew up as across the street neighbors on B street. She had a piano long before I did, and Lizzie let me play it until I had my own. Cynthia and I spent a lot of time together as 4-H'ers, learning to sew with her Mom's expert advice, writing "demonstrations" for 4-H, competing at fairs, and generally growing up to be young ladies. We shared a lot of secrets.
I'm so sorry to learn about your loss and hope that your memories are as pleasant as mine. She was a very good friend. Love to all of you,
Marion Cardi Etherington
