Dear Jeremy, Michael and Rachel, I just learned of your father's passing. I am so terribly sad. He was a great lover of music, advocate for music education, and supporter of the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra & Music School. We sat in the same row at The VETS for the Philharmonic's concerts. He was there in September and seemed vigorous as ever. I am truly sorry for your loss. I will miss him.

Jeremy & Michael, Bernadette and I would like to express our sincere condolences to you and your families with the loss of your dad. Unfortunately, I did not know your dad well, however, when given the opportunity to meet him for the first time in the last year I found him to be extremely engaging, professional and a true gentleman. You should be extremely proud of what he had accomplished personally and professionally and I wish you great success building your business and advancing David's legacy.
With deepest sympathy, Bill Breheny.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I met David many years ago when we were both sailing students at J World and we stayed in touch. We managed to get together for breakfast when I was in Newport last summer and I fully expected to see him again in the near future. He was a great guy and I will miss him.

Dear Issenberg family,

Richard and I were so saddened to hear about your dad''s passing. He fought so hard to live and to enjoy more time with all of you. He left us way too young.

Being a classmate of his since 1961, we always had fun. His classmates will surely miss him, especially me.

Unfortunately we are out of town and won't be able to be at the funeral or shiva. We just wanted to hug you to tell you how much we care.

Please accept our deepest sympathies to you all. We have lost a good friend. Keep all your wonderful memories of him deep in your hearts and treasure them. Just remember our thoughts, our prayers and our love are with you.

Hugs
Linda & Richard Mittleman.

Peggy and I send our condolences to the Isenberg family. I had the great privilege and honor to meet and work with David and his sons on many occasions in building a business between our companies. David was always gracious, respectful, wise - an authentic class act and his sons learned from him the value of entrepreneurship and authentic relationships. He used to tease me for being Irish. We always laughed together the times we met. Such a great man. He always had a smile; I will miss him a great deal and he taught me much about business and relationships and true partnership though he has no clue he did so. Probably as he would wish this so. Bless him and his family in their time of sadness and may they carry on his generous legacy.

David and I became friends through Rotary as we worked on several projects. This past August we spent a fine day sailing on Anam Cara out of Jamestown, taking advantage of a beautiful southwest breeze and warm Sun. I am sad now knowing it was our last. He was a natural on the helm. God bless you David and your family. My condolences to all.

Celebrating a great guy as well as a life well lived. I will forever cherish the time I spent with your dad. The Finer in Chex's Finer Foods was largely because of David and the boys and young lady. Class family all around.
