David Ruggiero Obituary
Born in Johnston, he was the son of Grace (Rontondo) Ruggiero and the late Peter Ruggiero.
David was a truck driver for 25 years for the Benny's Warehouse on Waterman Avenue in Smithfield.
Besides his wife and mother, he leaves two daughters, Brittany and Brianna Ruggiero and a brother Michael Ruggiero.
His funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 A.M. from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by Committal Prayers and Burial in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston. VISITATION FRIDAY 9-10 A.M.

DAVE was a great guy!I talked to him about trucking every weekend at the pro.jo. distrubution center.Dave trained me on route out in foster on a couple of sundays offering to buy the coffee,we had a lot of laughs.Dave use to greet me with a big "HEY TRUCK DRIVER" I will miss you dave,my deepest sympathy to your family.

I want to say I am very sorry to Brittany and Brianna. I know things have not been easy for you lately and this is very hard for you to understand. My thoughts and prayers are with you both and your Mom. Take one day at a time and stick together. You will heal and the pain will subside as each day passes. You WILL be alright. Keep your chin up.

We met David and Cynthia 18 years ago when they moved to Camile Drive in Johnston (even before Brittany and Briana were born!). When they first moved to Camile Drive, Carl would always bust up David about the snow in the winter and getting up the hill with their cars - saying to Dave - "I hope you've got really good snow tires and chains!". And David would say to Cynthia - "What a pain in the butt neighbor we've got!" We became very good friends with them. David will be missed and our prayers go out to the Ruggiero Family.

David will be sadly missed by the Providence Journal Paper Carriers out of the Northwest area. He was a friend to all who knew him. I will remember him with his Diet Coke in hand every time I saw him while waiting for my papers. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and daughters whom he always talked about.
