Domenic Gazzero Obituary

GAZZERO, DOMENIC, 87, of Twins Lane, North Providence, formerly of Providence, died Saturday, December 31, 2005 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. He was the husband of the late Rose (Borrelli) Gazzero.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Ernesto and Bridget (DelSesto) Gazerro. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during World War II. Mr. Gazzero worked in the shipping department for the former US Rubber Company of Providence for many years before his retirement.

He is survived by his three children Linda Brown, of North Providence, Arlene Brown, of Johnston and Ernest Gazzero, of North Providence. Mr.Gazzero was the grandfather of seven and the great-grandfather of seven. He was the brother of Vera Corsetti, of Johnston, Marie Poliquin, of Glocester, Joseph Gazerro and Anna Tufano, both of North Providence and the late Jennie Germani, Theresa Ondis, Louise DeLellis, and Peter Gazerro.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 9:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Augustine's Church, Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Tuesday 4-8 PM. Kindly omit flowers.
