Dear Mrs. Pacheco and family,
I am so sorry to learn of your loss. Gilbert was my grandfather's nephew and I remember seeing him at Aunt Stella's when I was a child and he seemed like such a great guy. He was even thoughtful enough to contact my family after my grandmother passed away a few years ago after being out of touch for quite a while. I wish I had had the chance to know him better.
My deepest condolences to you and your entire family.

To my Aunt Emily and my cousins Wayne, Denise and Stephen..... I sincerely offer my most heartfelt condolenses. I wish that I could be there with you personally but that just isn't possible. My sister Rosemary promised to convey my sympathy for me. It seems like just yesterday Uncle Gil was saying a final goodbye to my Mom and his sister Mary as she left this world and now they are eternally reunited in everlasting peace. God Bless you all, Jimmy

If you needed a dose of courage, a little joke, some words of common sense, a little memory nostalgia, or just a feeling of being loved.....all you needed to do was sit next to Uncle Gilbert, and it was automatic...

Everyone liked being by his side, an honorable man, a humble, fun-loving guy, who always wanted the best for us.

Loved ones in heaven are celebrating Uncle Gil's arrival; they have missed sitting with him.

We are grateful to have had Uncle Gil in our lives. We cherish the memories.

Love to you all, Anne (Santos) Canuel

I miss you so much grandpa. I love you, you were my hero. I will never forget you. I remember all of our adventures and memories, like the time we went to McDonalds to the drive thru and you paid for the food and drove off with out it. I remember you taking me to LaSalette all the time to see the pretty lights and my favorite, watching the Sox with you. I am going to make you proud with my life and I will see you one day again in Heaven. I love you and I miss you like crazy.
Love, Beth
