I was deeply saddened to hear of Joe's passing. I remember him as being a very kind soul and he will be missed. I would like to express my sincere sympathies to Jean and her family on their loss.

The last time I spoke to Joe was at the passing of my own father. The support was greatly appreciated. If there is anything my mom and I can do to help, please do not hesitate to ask.

Again, all my prayers, Herb Jackson

Jean, Gina, and Michael--just learned tonight (Monday) in a 'phone message from Jean about your sad loss. I'm so sorry I can't attend either the calling hours or the funeral, since I can't drive (broken foot). My thoughts and prayers are with you, and Norm will be with you in spirit. Joe was an unusually good person. I know you will miss him terribly in the years ahead. The down side of loving, unfortunately, is losing. Elaina Jackson (Bridgewater, MA)
