Idalina Lima Obituary
Born March 4, 1929, in Santa Maria, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Joao M. Cabral and the late Maria Da Conceicao Soares. Mrs. Lima was a communicant of Our Lady of the Rosary Church. She was a benchworker for many years at the Imperial Pearl Co. and later at Monet Jewelry.
She is survived by her children, Fatima and Jack Silva, Connie and Manny Vieira, Manuel and Angie Lima, and Jose and Odete Lima, all of East Providence, and Antonio and Fatima Lima of Bristol; her stepmother, Maria Cabral of East Providence; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was the sister of Conceicao Lima and Manuel Cabral of East Providence, Germina Benevides of Pawtucket, and Dolores Goulart, David Cabral, and Virgilio Cabral all of East Providence, and Regina Tavares of Seekonk. She was the sister of the late Jose M. Cabral, Fernando Cabral, Jorge Cabral and Antonio Sousa.
Her funeral will be Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Traverse Street, Providence. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday 5-8 p.m. www.rebellofuneralhome.com
