Iris Donnelly Obituary
68, of Narragansett, Iris was the daughter of Selma (Katz) and Daniel Weidenfeld, wife of Charles Donnelly of Narragansett, mother of Emmanuel Falck of Providence and Maya Falck and grandmother of Sabine Pale of New York City, and friend of many.
A dedicated educator, Iris taught French, Spanish, and Special Education during her long teaching career. A talented photographer, Iris captured award winning images of a wide array of subjects, people, and places.A celebration of Iris's life will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of South County, 27 North Road, Peace Dale on Saturday, October 7 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sophia Academy, 582 Elmwood Ave., Providence. Read more about Iris's life at

like her mother, Selma, Iris possessed beautiful qualities..smart and so interesting. I always enjoyed reading her postcards from France where she visited during the summer months. Different she was and very much loved by her Aunt Carol and Uncle Sol. I'm so sorry that I lost touch with Maya and Emmanuel. Dear Maya, Emmanuel and Charles,
Please know that I am thinking of you and of Iris, who was a vibrant and impressive person, doing good in her work and through her photography. I have seen her only occasionally these past years but will not forget her. I have to be out of town but wish I could be there with you. I wish you comfort and am so sorry for your loss.
