My heart is beyond broken.
I just heard of the news of Jimmy Iacobucci's passing.
I posted this picture because the Cranston Y was having a Mock Prom Contest.
There were gowns and jackets in the coffee room.
I said to Jimmy, "I have never been to my proms"
Jimmy: "Okay, you will now. Here is a dress for you, and a jacket for me."
And for 5 minutes this kind, caring man, took me to my prom.
No we did not win the contest but he won my heart.

The only way Jimmy could remember my name was to look at the door, say DOOR EEN.
Everyday, from here on end, as I open the DOOR to the Y, I will look up to the heavens, shed a tear, and be forever honored to know this caring, loving man, that took me to my 1 and only prom......
GRACE AND FAMILY, I AM SO SORRY FOR THE LOSE OF YOUR BELOVED JIMMY.
HE WAS LIKE A FATHER TO ME, SO KIND, CARING AND LOVING.
HEAVEN NEEDED ANOTHER ANGEL.
LOVE DOREEN

My thoughts are with the family during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there is hope for our loved ones lost in death can be reassuring.
