I'l like the memory of me to be a happy one, I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun, Of happy memories that I leave when my life is done.
From the prayer card of James and Marian Soares.
I would like to thank everyone who took the time to write in this guest book. With all the articles on the internet, it is nice to come here and read something kind.

Dear Jim,
I am so sorry. I am glad I got to talk to you that last time, to know that things had become smoothed between us. I had missed you all so much. You two had told me you could be my "stand in father" when mine remarried and moved to Fl, I have greately appreciated that, and cherish that for the rest of my life. Marian was like a Mother, and friend. I remember watching you play ball at the park, and that time my fly got stuck up and busted, and Marian and I could not get it undone. So she sent me to you with pliers, and will strive to remember the good times like that. I will miss you two very much and I've been praying for you evey night and during the day. You'd probably like to know that I spoke to my mother disclosing Marian's maiden name and she became as distraught as I have been, to learn that the girl she once knew in school, was her. who would have thought! Her prayers have been with you and yours as well. I still carried a stong love for you throughout my years and you guys flashed in my growing years quite often. I will carry you two with me where ever I go in my life. If it is possible, you two feel free to visit me in my dreams. I will yearn to see you, and speak to you once again for the rest of my life. Rest In Peace Mom and Dad #2. I love you.
To the Family, I am filled with such horrible sorrow. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all. There aren't enough words. I don't even think there are any words to describe how I feel for you. I pray that you will learn the things you need to in order for your lives to thrive and advance. I wish I could say more, but I am at a loss. If anyone remembers me, feel free to contact me, if you need it.
Especially to Sherri and Dawn,
My first thoughts were of you, I hope that this horrid tragedy does not cease you in your lives, and that you will one day, get the answers that I know you need. I am sorry that you too have lost 3 that you loved.

My heart and prayers are with you and your families at this time. So many wonderful memories of Jim -- skiing at Jay Peak in Vermont, dining at The Buck and Doe and, above all else, Jim's laugh!!! He and Marian truly were soulmates! The Soares family will always have a special place in my heart and life. Que dios te vendiga!!!

No person is ever truly alone.
Those who live no more,
Whom we loved,
Echo still within our thoughts,
Our words, our hearts.
And what they did
And who they were
Becomes a part of all that we are,
Forever.
Dear Jane, David and Family,
Very sorry to hear of your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Maureen, Wayne & Molly Lachapelle
