Jeffrey Woodruff Obituary

WOODRUFF, JEFFREY, 56, died unexpectedly Monday at home. Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of John L. and Isabel (Walker) Woodruff of Narragansett. Jeff worked as a welder at Electric Boat Quonset for thirty years. He was a graduate of South Kingstown High School. He enjoyed bicycle riding, the outdoors and golfing. Jeff was very well liked; he enjoyed life and spending time with his family. Besides his parents he leaves his brother John W. Woodruff of Narragansett and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Glenn A. Woodruff. Visiting hours will be held Friday 10:00 AM to Noon, followed by a funeral service at noon in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston. For guest book and condolences, averystortifuneralhome.com.

Dear Uncle Johnny and Auntie Isabelle,We are all so sorry to hear about our cousin Jeffrey. Tough news to bear Woody. I've got a treasure store of great memories on all the golf course's we've played. Never forget the good times at Winnapaug, with the whole gang, followed by a trip to the Andrea Hotel for a swim & good times.
