Our Deepest Sympathy for the loss of you Dad. He was a great man, a very generous man to his family of St. Francis/St. Romuald Parish. We worked together on many fundraisers. His best attribute to us was his humble and unassuming manner. He will be missed.

I HAD MADE A PREVIOUS ENTRY AND HOPED TO BE WELL ENOUGH TO ATTEND THE FUNERAL FOR MY GREAT UNCLE. HOWEVER, I AM UNDER TREATMENT FOR HEART PROBLEMS, PROSTRATE CANCER,COLON CANCER AND SKIN CANCER, FOOT PROBLEMS AND A MYRIAD OF OTHER PROBLEMS TOO NUMEROUS TO BORE ALL WITH. I JUST WAS NOT UP HEALTH WISE TO MAKE THE SIX TO SEVEN HOUR RIDE FROM KEENE,N.H.! I WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE UNDER DIFFERENT CIRCUMSTANCES.

To my Cavanagh cousins:

Please accept my deepest sympathy at the passing of your father. I always greatly admired Uncle John's humble and quiet spirit. His talents, generosity and faith will remain as his most profound legacy.
I am sorry I was not able to attend his services, as I now live in Seattle, but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

UNCLE JOHN WAS THE MOST UNFORGETABLE CHARACTER I EVER MET. HE WAS SUCH AN OUTSTANDING CHRISTIAN GENTLEMAN AND WAS VERY GENEROUS WITH HIS TIME AND WORLDLY GOODS. WE WILL ALL MISS HIM.

We offer our sympathy, and we are certain that members of the Cavanagh family are most grateful for having been blessed by sharing the life of John F. Cavanagh. John was filled with His Holy Spirit, and shared his Faith and material resources with many, in a quiet and meaningful way. We pray, with confidence, that John's soul now rests in peace.
