Joe, my friend, my baby, my man, my partner in crime, my everything, a year has passed and I'm still in disbelief of your passing. It's been a lot of sadness and tears, laughter and memories, anger and just pissed off. I miss you joe, with every phone call I go to make to you and with every thought daily....I'm missing you. I had a bike run for you joe. We raised 500 and donated to st jusde children hospital in your name. I know how much you loved children. I remember you wanted me to rename Suzy qs to Suzy Joes. I'm thinking about it.......ok no. I lost a huge part of myself when you left joe. It will never be back because you will never be back. One day in heaven, joe. I look forward to seeing you again if God's will. I think about you watching me at the weirdest times. It's really funny in a creepy way. Nobody gets me the way you did joe. I love you my best friend. My heart aches for you. God bless you joe. Joe 40.

This brings back too many memories of my childhood, Joey the trips to New Hampshire he was always with us. He and my brother hunting and arguing, skating playing hockey.
He would always find away to make us laugh.
I am stunned and offer my deepest sympathy
To you both Mary & Isabelle

Yes, Tom said it the best, he was the most genuine person you could meet. Always working on something like his truck or another model car. He had a never quit attitude and always set out to finish what he started. My deepest sympathies to Mary and Isabel.

Dear Mary, Isabel, Phil, Jimmy and Families. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Words just cannot express the profound sadness I feel. I've known Joe for almost 40 years. People often use the term friend very casually, but Joe truly was a friend in every sense of the word. How often I can remember Joe calling me when we had not spoken for a while just to see how I was doing, always asking about my family. He was so reluctant to speak of himself or ask for anything, but never ended a conversation without saying "if you need any help with anything, let me know". I remember one time mentioning to Joe that I was having a problem with my lawn sprinklers. Sure enough Joe shows up at my house the next day at 7am and is standing in the middle of the yard with the sprinklers on, soaking wet, fixing the sprinkler head. I'm sure everyone who knew Joe has a story like that to tell. The most selfless, humble, giving, considerate, caring person I've ever known, a man of the highest integrity and honor. Anyone who ever knew Joe would say the same and are deeply mourning his passing. As I write this, it's raining out...tears of sadness from heaven. Joe was truly the "King". Your friend always...Cal
I love you Joe

Sharing in your sadness as we remember Joe's kind and giving heart he was loved. I will always remember him.

Dear Mary and Isabel, Joe was family in our home as we were paisani bonded by our love of Giovinazzo, Bari. Joe was the kindest, most compassionate, special and loving gentleman I have ever had the good fortune of knowing. His memory will forever rest in my heart. My most heartfelt condolences to the Forte family
