Dear Mrs. McKenna and family,

My family and I, extend our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Joseph.
I'm both grateful and honored to have known such a caring and selfless gentleman. Joseph was an incredible human being! His generosity saw no bounds. And his love and admiration for his family was endless. A true "class act". I'll miss and always cherish the talks that I had with him. Especially, our talks about our Navy experiences. His life was quite extraordinary!
Well Joe, may you have "fair winds and following seas" on your final voyage, shipmate! Thanks for everything and God bless you and your family!

Dear Mrs. McKenna and family,

I am so sorry to hear of your recent loss.

I only hope that loving memories will comfort you during this difficult time.

It is always hard to lose someone but I think it is really hard to lose one of the truly special ones.

While I didn't know Mr. McKenna that well I know many who did- including members of my family. And whenever I heard his name it was always in a sentence that also contained the words helping, visiting, listening and mentoring.

I can't imagine a better legacy for him to leave his children and grandchildren.

A man of faith who acted accordingly and showed compassion-without judgement-to so many.

I have always been proud of my hometown because there were plenty of Mr. McKennas there...but he was a standout. Only a few effect so many.

I will keep you all in my prayers.

In deepest sympathy....

Maureen,Margaret,Ellen,Pat,Joe,Bill, A wonderful man has left us,but the memories shall never fade, your lose is huge, and I can only share your pain,Your Dad was wonderful role model and mentor,His advice and support will be greatly missed by myself, and many others, I learned so much from your Dad as a matter of fact, it was 27 years ago this month that I started learning from him, when I started working for Mckenna roofing a job that we had in North Adams Mass. He was loved and respected by everyone who met him he will always remain in my heart forever. Some people come into our lives and quickly go, some stay for a while and leave something in our hearts and we are never ever the same, your Dad did that to me in so many ways, there was so many times when I needed to talk to your Dad about things that had to do with my life and he was always there to listen and give me advice, your Dad even touch my Dad, in a way that my Dad never forgot him, even after only meeting your Dad once or twice, when I told him about your lose he wrote a little something for your Dad, I had to do a some translating don't know how good of a job I did, but here goes We all have different journeys different paths, along the way we all were meant to learn somethings, but never meant to stay, our destintion is a place far greater than we know, for some the journey's quicker, for some the journey's slow. and when the journey finally ends, we'll claim a great reward, and find everlasting peace, together with the lord. May your Dad Joseph B Mckenna a wonderful man rest in peace ... Blessing Prayers to all of you and your family's .. Luv Danny Phil Cory Amaral and Daniel F Amaral
