Dear Auntie Gloria, Lori, Joe & Raymond. I want to express my sadness on hearing of Uncle Joe's passing. I wish we could have seen each other more than we did, but you are always in my heart. I feel your sadness, but I find comfort knowing my dad and my uncle are now together again and for that I hope we all find peace.
Miss and love you all very much, Donna

Pezzullo Family:
I had not seen Joe but once since we graduated from Barrington HS in 1948 and that was in 1952 or 1953 when he had come home from Army service. Notwithstanding, I thought of him many times. He was President of our Class for three years and was a remarkable athlete. Please accept my sincere sorrow at his loss.

To the Pezzullo Family,
My deepest sympathies for your loss of a great man. I just wanted to let you know that I had worked with Joe and he was a mentor and teacher and a friend. I have nothing but good memories. He was a strong and fair man who always got the best out of people. I will miss him, but he has made me a better person just by knowing him. God bless.

Dear Gloria and family,

It is with deep sincerity that I write these words of condolence to the entire family.
After the initial shock and sadness from learning of Joe’s passing my next thoughts were that I shouldn’t have waited to call or visit and that I missed my chance to speak with Joe…. To be counseled by his wisdom yet again. After a day of reflection about my time with Joe I now realize that I did not miss my chance but rather that I am very lucky to have had the many chances and times that I did with this great man. Joe was a mentor and a friend. He and his life’s lessons will never be forgotten by me. This sentiment is written by me but is certainly shared by many. I’m filled with nothing but thanks and honor to have known this gentleman that you call husband, dad and grandpa. Rest in Peace, Joe and remember that “your feet will ALWAYS be on the beat”.

Sincere heartfelt sympathies to all of his beloved family! I've been with Gilbane for close to 28yrs and he was a GIANT in the industry! I'm proud to have had the opportunity to know and work with him, as well as many of the Pezzullo family members over the years.

Dear Gloria and family- I was so saddened to read in the Projo.Com this morning that Joe had passed away. He was always one of my favorite "upper classmates" at Barrington High. I was in Eddie's class. I remember him as a good athlete, and he had a very nice manner about him. My heart goes out to you and your family. I am in FL - otherwise I would be there. God bless -
