On behalf of my family and myself, I would like to offer our condolences on the passing of a wonderful neighbor and friend, Joe Sylvester.
For the time we lived there, close to 40 years, "Mr. Sylvester" was a warm and friendly presence on Baird Avenue, ready with a hand shake and greeting no matter where you met him. He was kind, good-hearted and a "gentle man" in all the best sense of the word.
We will miss him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Deborah Harker Furia and the entire Harker family.
