You were part of the best day of our lives on 9/19/09. You gave us such a beautiful wedding ceremony that all of our family and friends will surely never forget. We were so blessed to have you there. We enjoyed a great rehearsal dinner with you never knowing that you would be leaving us. I was looking forward to helping you loading the supplies on the truck to Africa. I am still going to do that because I know that is something you would have wanted. We will miss you and will never forget your little antedote about lie, cheat and steal. Our hearts go out to your family, we will keep you in our prayers. Thank you Rev Ken for everything!

I wish I had looked for you sooner. You have been on my mind lately and yesterday I thought I would try to find you. To my sorrow, I found your obituary. My heart is broken.
My thoughts went to W T GRANTS, years ago. I remember you calling me to come to the stock room, to find you and Peter Pear, saying mass and giving out ashes that you had collected from the ash trays. My children and I will always love you.I have such wonderful memories,as I shead my tears. I love you!

Reverend Ken was the kindest and most loving person we knew. He immediately left a meeting, upon hearing of my near-death emergency surgery, to be at my bedside. He offered prayers, and even purchased a doll for my doll collection which he delivered to me upon my return home. I will remember him in my prayers each and every day. May God Bless you!

Elder Ken was a great man, loving and genuinely caring man about people. He listened to you when you confided any thing to him, and whatever you told him , you never heard it again. Always true to his word, if he told you he would do somethinf , he did it. He was a man with a great sense of humor , loved to laugh and eat and I never saw him not smiling. Always greeted you with a big bear hug and that smile. I will miss him dearly, never to be forgotten. I will cherish the memories I have of Ken from Pentecostal COGIC, we attended many services together. May his family find peace in this time of need.Ken will be greatly and dearly missed by many.

To Elder Ken's Family:
Please take consolation in the fact that Elder Ken completely gave of himself. Watching him with the young people of Pentecostal COGIC and his work in Africa was inspiring. He didnt just talk to them about love, he loved them and that was the lesson they learned from him. Not just them, but those of us who watched his life. Thank you for sharing him with us.

To the Erickson Family - I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great man and did wonderful things for this world. I met him when I was in Elemetary School, about 45yrs ago. I took a Conversational Italian Class at Veasy Street Library one summer and he was my teacher. That fall I went to E.Hopkins Jr. High and met a friend Sally, which I learned was Rev. Ken's sister. I have fond memories of him and the Erickson Family; he gave us(Sally, Donna, Gail & I)his car to use one summer to vacation in Maine when we were in High School. He was a wonderful person, who did wonderful things for everyone and anyone. May he rest in peace! God Bless his family.

To Rev. Ken's loving family,

Rev. Ken was a kind, unselfish, generous person; giving of himself daily to anyone in need. He was a wonderful example of God's love and teachings, sharing those with all he met.

A mentor to our son Jeff, and a guiding light to all. Rev. Ken married us 15 years ago in a beautiful bilingual ceremony.

Rev. Ken is now resting peacefully with God. May your memories of Rev. Ken bring you comfort in your time of grief. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

I would like to send our deepest sympathy to Ken's family. We have lost a brother,a friend,a family member. There is not enough time in the day to list Kenny's accomplishmnets. But, we all know what he has done for us. We will never know why we did not get to say good-by. But, recently Ken and I had a conversation ( as we often did) and he said Al we are not here to ask why but to say thank you and understand. He was right. He lived his life to help everyone eles and not himself. This was part of his mission. He carried it out each and every day. When you were in need, sad, broke, hungry or worse, he was only a phone call away. I have worked with Ken for over 20 years. He has been a very important part of my company from day one. Things will never be the same and I will never be able to replace my friend. Nor do I want to. May the angels leed you into paradise. May God shine his light on you. You did long enough for us Ken. Rest in peace until we meet again . Thank You for all you have done for me and my family. We will never forget you.

Kenny wore so many hats for so many people, always putting himself last. He gave 100% of himself to others and NEVER took from anyone. We were fortunate to know him as a close friend, married us 14 years ago, baptized our grandson, buried both my in-laws, provided free rescue service to our dying niece, and threatened to run down Fruit Hill Ave with my communion( day before surgery} if my Shepard got out of the room because he was terrified of the dog. Our thoughts and prayers go to his family that he LOVED and spoke of often to us.We only have wonderful memories of "The Most wonderful man I have ever had the honour to now." He is now resting in the Palms of GOD!! Love you Father Ken!!!

Ken was an amazing person. The selfless servant. What he wore or what he drove or where he laid his head did not matter to him. His life was helping others. Despite all of his robes and titles, he was not a religious person. He knew the Word of God inside and out but religion was not his thing. Helping and serving was his thing. He was a friend and an inspiration to our family. He was a brother to the prisoner, the homeless, the needy. I am privileged that it was in God's plan for me to know Ken. Those of us who knew him and loved him can take heart in knowing that he walks without a cane now!

I've known Kenny since I was a member of the call system of the NP Fire Dept...26 years ago. He sat with me at my father's bedside 3 years ago, held my hand and wiped my tears as my father drew his last breaths...I could not have gotten through it without Kenny. I am a much better person for having known him and those who have called him friend have been truly blessed. I will miss him and never forget what he brought to my life.

Kenny, you will be remembered for "how you spent your dash"...a poem by Linda Ellis that I wish I could read at your memorial, as you eluded to it at my father's service.

My condolences to Kenny's family, friends and co-workers.

Kenny has a special place in my heart forever!

I had the honor of meeting "The Rev" when he came on board with "Padre Bert" as Chaplins of the PFD. I couldn't have had the honor & priviledge of knowing such a great guy, with a heart of gold. He ALWAYS had the right thing to say when you were down & out & took as much time as need be to talk to you. I, along as many other Firefighters, who were lucky enough to meet & know Ken, will miss him dearly. RIP Brother until we meet again.
