Kenneth Powrie Obituary

POWRIE, KENNETH R., 77 of Cranston, died Tuesday January 25th at Rhode IslandI Hospital. He was the husband of the late Sheila M. and Lois J. Powrie. He is survived by 3 sons, Roy Christopher of Bristol, Kenneth John and his wife Lisa of Cranston, Michae A. Powrie of East Providence, a step daughter Lori and her husband Chris Colbert of West Warwick, stepson Mark Powers of Cranston and eight grandchildren. Mr Powrie worked at Hoffacker Company for 28 years and BA Ballou for 10 years until retirement in 2000. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00-7:00pm in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. A Funeral Service will be held immediately following the visitation at 7:00pm. Dolores and I got the sad news today in Florida. We talked with Roy just before leaving in October. We enjoyed many great times with him and we will all miss him greatly. May he rest in peace with Lois.

Roy was one of our closest friends for over forty years and we will miss him terribly,his passing is a great loss to his family and us, the world wont be the same without him.
We share many happy memories, lots of good times and lots of laughs which will help us to get through the sadness we feel.
