To the entire Dimeo Family:
I met your son briefly through my daugher, Amelia Laurie who went to Lincoln School. He helped me get lunch for the girls at a Robotics event last spring. He was such a gentlemen. I remember him driving to help me get the lunch for the girls and staying with me for over an hour while we collected it. We talked about all of you and his amazing life. I remember leaving after meeting him and thinking what a sweet, wonderful, caring young man. He really touched me that day with his gentle ways. I was so saddened and shocked to hear of his passing. He truly loved all of you and was just such a gift. I feel truly blessed to have had that hour with him. I can't begin to imagine your loss. Please, know that he loved all of you so much and he spoke of his huge exteded family and what fun you all had together. Just wanted to share this moment that I had with your son. I know that he loved all of you so much. My deepest condolences. Sincerely, Petra D. Laurie

To the entire Dimeo family. This past October I spent a Saturday morning with a new volunteer named Kevin. In between labeling envelopes and moving boxes from the office to the storage center, we talked of family, work, the old/new Fox Point, and the past and future for Kevin. As we parted ways, I thought "Now there goes a great young man." My deepest sympathy and gratitude for a life that I had the pleasure of spending one Saturday morning with.

I went to Salisbury with Kevin for four years, we became great friends. During our Senior year Kevin was pretty bummed about still being in high school, and so was I. That fall Kevin and I took a lot of hikes through the local appalachian trail and had countless heart to heart conversations. I remember Kevin constantly telling me how much he "loves life"; which was one of the reasons he did not want to waste another second of it at boarding school ha. But thats how Kevin was, he lived every day like it was his last. He changed the life of many, and will be missed by all.

To the Dimeo family, with deepest sympathy. We are a Salisbury School family. My son is a senior now, but Kevin was the boy who gave us our tour of the Salisbury campus. He was a wonderful young man--our thoughts and prayers are with you. Doreen Sanderson

To the Dimeo family:

I had the pleasure of having Kevin in one of my Business classes at Mt. Pleasant High School for the short time he attended here. He was a great person which I enjoyed having in class. Kevin was someone I knew would make a difference in the world due to his wounderful personality and intelligence. I was very saddened to hear of his passing. As soon as I saw it, I remembered him. That is the kind of impression he left with people. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

To the Dimeo family,

I heard about Kevin this evening and want to say how sorry I am for your loss. I went to Wheeler with Kevin for years; I was never terribly close with him, but he was great to be around and had a contagious smile. He was always an asset in sports on the playground and always contributed to the general mood. He was one of the few kids who was reliably and consistantly kind, which I wouldn't say about many people at that age. I'm so sorry that this happened, but he'll be well remembered- even by people who only knew him by his great character.

Teresa and Paul,

I am heartsick over the news of Kevin and can't even begin to imagine the devastation this has caused you, Molly, and the rest of the family. I am so very sorry. It is difficult to be so far away and unable to be there to offer support in whichever way.
Nathaniel and Kev had been trying to arrange getting together down there and
were excited to see each other again.
We all have wonderful memories of that impish smile of his and will keep those
close.

I wish you love, peace, and wonderful memories to give you strength, now and ever more.

Sending you warm hugs,

Mr and Mrs Dimeo, I remember Kevin very well and fondly. I had the privilege of being his Guidance Counselor and watching him grow and mature. I believe that his experiences at MPHS gave added impetus to his college choice and his choice of major. I thought of him every fall and said a prayer for him and for you both. I shall miss knowing he is not here, eager to make his mark on planet earth, daring to make changes. God bless you both now and always. If you need to talk or sit quietly with someone who liked and respected Kevin and his potential, I am here.
