Marc Pinzon Obituary
Born in Providence he was the loving son of Enrique and Deborah (Garcia) Pinzon, and the brother of Diana Pinzon. He was a lifelong Cumberland resident. He was employed by Rick's Auto Body Co., Warwick. Marc was a 2003 graduate of Cumberland High School and a 2005 graduate of New England Tech., Warwick.
He was the grandson of Alicia (Fernandez) Garcia and the late Olga (de Francisco) Pinzon. Marc also leaves behind several aunts, uncles and cousins and his girlfriend of four years, Tanya Quaresma.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the J.J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd., Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. John Vianney Church, Diamond Hill Rd., Cumberland. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Calling hours Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society, RI Chapter, 205 Hallene Rd., Suite 209, Warwick, RI 02886. I left all my info but forgot note!! Im writing this satSept13th2019 I wanted to tell you that my daughter goes to college at Dean in franklin and I drive by your sons memorial every time I go to see her and Ive been doing this for four years and the memorial is still there with lights and I think it is BEAUTIFUL ❤I am also SOSO sorry for your tremendous loss.When I looked it up on line I was surprised it happened in 2008!He must have been loved very muchI have twins( a boy& girl) and they are 23 this year and I know I would die if anything happened to them .I am in awe of your dedication to your sons memorial and just wanted to let you know I say a little prayer for him each time I pass it❤❤I hope somehow you get this note and know that I care

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Marc was an incredible person with so much vivacity, kindness and consideration. I worked with him at Mount St. Rita in high school and had the great honor of having his friendship.

Diana and family...
My heart aches for you and all my love goes out to you. I know what tragedy feels like, and so I know the unimaginable fight you face every day you wake up to this new reality. But I also know that while not even time will fully heal this wound and while you will never fill the void where Marc used to be -- you will make it through each day, week, month, year... together.
Diana... I haven't seen you since back in our college days, but you have always remained such a dear friend to me, always brightening my day every time I have heard from you. You are a wonderful, special person, so I know you must come from an amazing family. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers forever and ever.

To the Pinzon family,
I knew Mark when he worked in the kitchen at Mount St. Rita Health Centre. I worked in payroll in the Business office,I wanted you to know how much we all loved Mark, he was one of the nicest boys to ever work there. He always reminded me of my youngest son who lives in Seattle and I don't see very often, but when I would see Mark I would think of Brian.

For as long as I have known Marc, he was an agreeable and pleasant gentleman. It was always a delight to be accompanied by him. I got to know him growing up in high school but more so through our mutual friend Dave Tolley in the past couple of years. This is a significant loss to everyone who knew him. Although this incident is heartbreaking and painful, he is at peace in a place surrounded by grace. I offer my deepest condolences to his family. He will be missed by many and forgot by none.
