Mary Devaney

DEVANEY, MARY A. (KACZYNSKI), 100, formerly of Perry Street passed away Saturday December 11, 2010 at Eastgate Nursing and Recovery Center in East Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late John W. Devaney. Born in Oxford, MA she was a daughter of the late Walenty and Anna (Szymanski) Kaczynski. She lived in Central Falls most of her life. Before retiring she was employed by the former J.P. Coats Inc. for 8 years and later for the former Central Braid as a Supervisor for 40 years. She was a communicant of Holy Spirit Catholic Community of Central Falls. She is survived by one sister-in-law Genevieve Kaczynski of Pawtucket, two nieces Phyllis G. Kaczynski of Seekonk and Joanne C. Kaczynski of Pawtucket. She was the sister of the late Valentine, John and Joseph Kaczynski Her funeral will be held Wednesday December 15, 2010 at 8:30 AM from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home, 342 High Street, Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew's Church, 1030 Dexter Street Central Falls at 9:30 AM. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. CALLING HOURS TUESDAY FROM 4:00 PM TO 7:00 PM. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery East Providence.
