For the Klar family & Joanne

Mikey is the one person who you just think of him and you smile inwardly. Always a glint in his eyes and warm handshake or if you were lucky a hug. Mike made a lasting impresiion on my son Ryan-not only by the attention given, but the time spent with him. All our lives are enriched by having the pleasure

of knowing Mikey[as my brother inlaw nick named him The Burgermiester)

To the Klar Family,

A friend just sent me the shocking news of Mike's passing, and I wanted to send my deepest sympathies at this loss. I went to school with Mike from Waddington, Riverside Jr. High and East Providence. He always made me laugh and was a sincere friend. Although I hadn't seen Mike in many years, I'm glad he was part of my memories.

Dear Joanne, Mr. & Mrs. Klar & family,

My husband Dave and I would like to express our deepest sorrow for your loss. As a Riverside boy, Dave, has known Mike for years and always spoke of his great sense of humor and love of laughter. When I met Mike I found that to be absolutely true as he was dressed in a nun's habit for a Halloween party. His stories and laughter will live in our memories forever.

With heartfelt sympathy,

Elsie & Dave Johnson

Mike will be missed by so many that it is overwelming to think how many people he had an influence on and quickly became their friends.

When I think of Mike he brings a big grin to my face. He always had the right thing to say to make you feel good on a tough day and give you a good laugh.

I know how much Mike would hate to have people feeling sorrow for him because he was such a positive guy even when life was tough for him, but it is hard not to be saddened when you lose such a wonderful fun-loving person and a friend you can confide in like him.

We miss you Mike. Here's to the memories.

To The Klar Family

I send you my heart felt deepest

sympathies. I still feel like I am

in shock. There is no way I can image what you are feeling. I am

struggling to just celebrate his life and not deal so much with his death. There is so much to say to you and I will try by sending you

a letter later for now I want to say a couple things about early

memories of Michael.

In the hall of the school we attended in Providence Mike at 5yrs

old would come over to me the sweet little shy girl and he would

tease me until I had to run off.

Then we both moved to Riverside with our families and went to Waddington. On the first day of

school there I was shy and scared -

I turned around and there is Mike.

He says " hey are you following me?"

That broke the ice for the day!!

Later when we were about 11yrs or 12ys we were in a car pool to sunday school and hebrew school. Two different temples were on the route and every time we got in the

car Mike usually tried his best to sit next to me and tease me for

the entire ride!!!

There are many memories to hold on to. My thoughts are with this old

friend who had so much humor and so much love. Now he is being hugged by G-d as he tells his jokes. And all the angels want to have a chance to hug Michael. He

will be well taken care of.

My thoughts and love are with the Klar Family & Joann.

Mr. and Mrs. Klar,

I am so saddened to hear of MIke's passing. Mike was a dear friend from Hancock. He took me under his wing and taught me so much. I will always remember his quick wit and ability to make anyone laugh at any time. Mike had a heart of gold and I know that I am a better person for having known him.

Dear Mr. and Mrs Klar,

I am so sorry to hear about Mike's sudden death. As a mother myself I can only imagine how hard it must be to lose a child at any point of your life. Mike was still so young.

I worked with Mike at Amica and he was such a kind, considerate and fun loving guy. He always made a point to say "hello" whenever he past me in the hall or to chat for a few minutes. He will be missed so much. I will pray for all of you in this time of mourning.

Dear Mr and Mrs Klar,

I was so saddened to hear the news of Mike's sudden death. Belovedly know to my niece and nephews as "Uncle Mikey", he was always filled with life and humor. There were many occasions that I had tears rolling down my face from laughing so hard at his jokes and stories. I now have tears in my eyes for a very different reason. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

I am shocked and saddened to learn about Michael’s unexpected passing.

Having been a colleague of Michael for over 28 years I was privileged to become his friend and counted on his daily sense of humor to get me through some difficult times in my life.
Some people’s hobbies only serve their need for self diversion but through Michael’s woodworking skills he was able to create furniture that he enjoyed bestowing as gifts to those people he loved. Michael taught me the meaning of “it’s better to give than to receive.”
Michael was generous with his time in both his personal and professional life and demonstrated the ability to give proper balance between both.

He was the kind of friend you could always count on and could be trusted with any type of confidence.

My heart felt sympathy to the entire Klar family.

Sincerely,

Rory Billig
