Nancy Lyons Obituary

LYONS, NANCY E., 68, of Butternut Dr., North Kingstown, died Thursday, October 26, 2006 at home. She was the wife of Lockwood J. Lyons.

Born in Quincy, MA, a daughter of Verne (Wright) Flagg of Middletown and the late Henry C. Flagg, she resided in North Kingstown for the past 20 years.

Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by 7 children, Dona M. Blunt of Quincy, MA, Nancy E. Cicogna of Saunderstown, Jessica Cunningham of Narragansett, Barbra T. Gremza of North Kingstown, Michael L. Lyons, USAF-Ramstein, Germany, Patrick K. Lyons of Marlboro, MA and Michael F. Lyons of Norfolk, VA and 10 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in The Chapel of St. John the Divine, 34 Church Way at Willet Rd., Saunderstown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Animal Rescue League of Southern RI, 506 B Curtis Corner Rd., Peacedale, RI 02883. Arrangements by Nardolillo Funeral Home-South County Chapel, Narragansett.

She was a joy to be around. She has always been, and will always be, in a special place where I keep my most happy memories. My deepest sympathies go out to Nicki, Joe, and the rest of her family. May God bless her soul.
