Normand Dufrense Obituary

DUFRENSE , NORMAND L.
88, of Plantation Dr. died June 5, 2017. He was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Adelard and Delina (Gagnon) Dufresne. Normand served in the US Army and was a radio repair man during the Korean War. He worked as a pressman for the Providence Journal Co. for forty years. Normand was an avid gardener and a member of the Begonia Society. He was a benefactor of St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Rene, Victor, Leo, Wilfred, Robert and Edna Dufresne, and is survived by several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30 AM from the Fournier and Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, RI, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in St. Joan of Arc Church, Mendon Rd. Cumberland, RI. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Please visit www.fournierandfournier.com for guestbook and directions.
