Renu, Shilpa, Sunil, and Fei,
John and I send our heartfelt sadness to each of you. Om was a stately, gentle, and brilliant husband, father, and friend. It is miraculous that he was able to spend so much of his last year of life with each of you and in many venues that will give you lasting memories. He will be missed and yet he lives on in each of you in so many wonderful ways.
We share your sorrow and sadness in his passing.
May you eventually gain strength from that which Om was able to model for everyone.
We are grateful that we had the good fortune to spend time with him at the beautiful reception in June. He never gave a hint that he was not feeling well. Rather, he was proud of his family, happy to be with them and friends, and talked of his blessings in life. He did all these things with just a few words from his heart as you know. There was no doubt as to what he meant or what he was saying. What strength of character he had and he shared with calm certainty.
You are in our thoughts and prayers as is Om.

Learnt only few days ago that he was sick and yesterday that he passed away

I was informed the other day that Dr. Kothari had passed away. Having left Kent County Hospital in 2013 and worked with Dr. Kothari for almost 21 years in the Pathology Office at Kent, I will truly miss him. He was a very kind and dear man with complete compassion for his work and family. My prayers go to Mrs. Kothari his son Sunil and daughter Shilpa and the rest of his family! My thoughts and prayers to all with my sincere sympathy.
