PATRICK McCARTHY Obituary
Patrick was the vice president of A Plus Transportation in Providence and also vice President of McCarthy Publications, a family music business in Nashville, TN. He graduated from St Margaret's School in Rumford, Providence Country Day School in East Providence and Barry University in Miami Shores, FL. Patrick was a hockey and lacrosse player and loved music.
Besides his parents he leaves 3 sisters: Katherine Danielle and Christina K. McCarthy of Pawtucket and Michele McCarthy St. Laurent of Norfolk, Ma and a brother: Daniel P. McCarthy of Milford, MA along with his puggles: Brady and Bruschi.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11am in St. Margaret's Church, Pawtucket Ave. Rumford to which relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours Monday 4-7pm in the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home 230 Waterman St., Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to For the Love of Christi, 2306 Hancock Dr. Austin, TX 78756. Condolences may be left at monahandrabblesherman.com

Patrick...
I stumbled upon the notepads that we used to take turns bringing back and forth to write in to eachother. Gosh, we had so many of them. I came across a poem I wrote about you for an english class freshman year.. I couldn't help but think of all the memories we spent together. I know in my heart that your watching over us yet I can't help but wish you were still right here.

Patrick was not only my older brother, he was my best friend. We understood each other, unlike anyone could. They say each day it will get easier... to me that is not true at ALL. Everyday I miss my brother more and more. I would PAY any money, do anything in the world just to rewind back to that night when he said "Goodnight D"... because that goodnight ended up being a goodbye. Miss and Love you P-Dawg.

You were a good friend to each member of my family and for that I thank you. It didn't matter to you if all 6 of us were in Miami or just a few of us, you always went out of your way to join us for dinner and make us laugh.
