Pauline J. Age 96 Motta

MOTTA, PAULINE J. (Renegaldo) age 96,
of Cranston passed away Sunday January 21, 2018 at Miriam Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Manual S. Motta. Pauline was the devoted mother of M. Michael Motta, Beverly Motta Norton and her husband Thomas, and the late Marion Motta Milano. She was the cherished grandmother of Jessica Milano and her husband Paul Weinstein, Jennifer (Norton) King and her husband Timothy King, Michael Motta and his wife Cheryl Motta, Eric Milano and his wife Suzanne Milano, and the late Katherine Norton. Pauline loved being with her family and valued spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her nine great grandchildren Kayla, Dylan and Tyler Milano, John and Ryan King, Parker Juliet Weinstein and Marcus, Lucas and Gabriel Motta added a great amount joy to her life.
Pauline was the daughter of the late Michelangelo and Francesca (Quartro) Renegaldo. Pauline, who was known to her family as Lena, was the oldest girl of nine children, which include the late Nicholas, Thomas, Natalie, Antonetta "Toni", Mary, Josephine, and Matteo. She is survived by her youngest sister Anna. Auntie Lena will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Born in Providence, she moved to Cranston 48 years ago. She worked many years for General Electric Wiring Division before retiring. Pauline will best be remembered for her kindness, wisdom, quick wit, loving nature and her strong devotion to her faith.
Pauline's funeral will be held on Friday January 26, 2018 at 8:45 A.M. from "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mark Church, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS; Thursday January 25, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
