Richard M. Leger Jr.

LEGER, RICHARD M. JR., 59, of Old Pine Road, Narragansett, died Sunday at South County Hospital, Wakefield. He was the husband of Hisa K. (Kaizumi) Leger.

Born in Corpus Christi, TX, he was a son of the late Richard M. and Susan (Durfee) Leger. Mr. Leger was a self-employed carpenter for forty-two years. He was also the co-owner, along with his wife Hisa, of Hisa's Flowers and Gifts, of Narragansett, for the past five years. Mr. Leger was a volunteer firefighter and EMT in Niwot, CO, prior to moving to Narragansett. He was an avid fisherman and collector of the works Neville Shute. Mr. Leger was a Narragansett resident for the past seventeen years and resided at his present address for the past ten years.

Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters Misa Leger Erb, of Watertown, NY, Kimi Leger, of Asheville, NC, and one son Ty K. Leger, of Narragansett. He was the grandfather of Mika Erb, of Watertown, NY. He was the brother of Jeanne C. Hannon, of Shingle Springs, CA, Judith D. Leger, of Boca Raton, FL, Christine D. Leger, of Uralla, Australia, Susan E. Morettini and Brian A. Leger, both of Bristol.

His Funeral Services will be private. Arrangements are by the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL.
