Rita Chiappinelli Obituary

CHIAPPINELLI, RITA MARIE, passed away Friday September 26, 2008. Born in Providence a daughter of the late Salvatore and Pasqualina (Dodato) Chiappinelli.

Miss Chiappinelli was a graduate of Albertus Magnus. She is survived by her nephew Michele Paliano and his wife Cynthia, with whom she lived and was the loving aunt of Carole, Robert, Peter, Lucille, Ann, Marie and Kristin. She was the sister of the late Bart, Tony, Lucy, Josephine, Irma, Freddy and Phyllis.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from 'WOODLAWN' Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Church, Broadway, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. Calling Hours TUESDAY 5-8 p.m. Donations in her memory made to the Church of St. Mary & Franciscan Ministries, 538 Broadway, Providence, RI 02909 for building upkeep and improvements would be appreciated.
